I am having issues with having a display on my monitors. It takes around 30 minutes of turning on and off the computer and monitors as well as connecting and disconnecting the DisplayPort cables.
The issue is either in the monitor connection port, the computer connection port in the graphics card, or the cable itself (or multiple issues of these). You will see in the video that it finally connects but it takes constant repeat steps like you will see in the video.
Hardware being used:
a) AOC Agon 4 Pro AG274UXP
b) Corsair Vengeance i7500
with Intel Core i9-14900K, NVIDIA RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 6000MT/s Memory, 2TB NVMe SSD x1
c) two DisplayPort cables that came with the monitor
d) one j5create JDC43 DisplayPort
All of this hardware has been purchased and set up in the month of December 2023. Both the monitors and computer are under the manufacture’s warrantee.
Things to consider: I need to use the DisplayPorts on the monitors and not the HDMI because I will be using the HDMI to connect my tv as a third monitor (purpose is to display images to my clients for in-person consultation). So I can not use the HDMI port on the monitor as a second source. I have tried connecting an HDMI from the monitor into the GPU and the same issue happens just like the DisplayPort.
Cable management will be done once when the issue has been resolved and all the hardware successfully boots up flawlessly.
If you can please let me know what might be the issue I will gratefully appreciate it. Thank you!
